Kaitlyn Wise is a junior this year, and is interested in reporting because she has many thoughts on the fashion world and would love to report everything that happens. Wise wants to study fashion design and merchandising in hopes to study/work in New York City. She's involved in NAHS, Fashion Club and MHAC. Wise loves to post the latest news in the fashion world and tips to have a more sustainable foot print in fashion.

Sophia Caltagirone

(Vice President)
Sophia Caltagirone is a senior and she is the Vice President of the Fashion Club. As well as her commitment to the Fashion Club, Caltagirone has many other activities she’s involved with. Caltagirone is the Editor-In-Chief for the yearbook, and one of the heads of the Mini THON Morale Committee. She’s also a part of Big Buddy, Mu Alpha Theta, Concert Choir, and DPAC. Caltagirone’s outside interest is volleyball, which she started playing in 7th grade. She has managed the Boys’ Volleyball since her sophomore year. Caltagirone enjoys writing about fashion to inform others about the current news and events in the fashion industry. Her future plans include writing fashion magazines as a Fashion Journalist.

Brooke Jordan is a junior and the Social Media Coordinator for the Fashion Club. On the blog, she’s a part of the video team where they create fashion videos within the school: Getting an inside scoop of what teenagers of today enjoy. Jordan’s involved in MHAC, Leo Club and The Beacon. Her future plans are to study communications in college. The content she plans on making are videos of interviewing students about their clothing as well as teachers (the questions will vary each time.) Jordan enjoys fashion and how it can be an outlet for so many around her!

Mak Mostert

Mak Mostert is a senior who thought of the Fashion Club blog as a chance to get the club’s word and message out to people. Mostert is involved in many clubs, like being the President of Art Club, Secretary of Fashion club, and a member of Dallastown Performing Arts Club, Leo Club, Mental Health Awareness Club, as well as a Committee Co-Chair of Entertainment for Mini-THON. Her future plans are to pursue animation and graphic design through HACC and PCA&D. Mostert wants to produce stories on locally owned thrift stores, local fashion trends and how they relate to worldwide trends, and much more. There’s so many stories to share, and she is determined to share anything important that she can.

Mikayla Holdenried

Mikayla Holdenried, a junior and member of the marching band, found herself at the newly founded Fashion Club and became interested in the idea of running for treasurer. Holdenried asked herself, “why not” so she did, and ended up getting the position. Holdenried has been obsessed with fashion since she was little: Drawing outfits for her little characters or playing the really odd Hannah Montana dress up simulator. She is also obsessed with analytics, hence being the treasurer and a writer. Fashion and data make a perfect union. Although, nearly being in love with fashion, she is deciding to be a lawyer in her future. She’s hoping to introduce the students of Dallastown to how she analyzes outfits, comprehends history and much more.

Clay Pfleiger is a freshman, and chose this position because they love to write as well as making and editing videos. They are in JROTC and are planning on going into the military or work in the tech field. In Pfleiger’s free time, they like to skateboard, listen to music and hang out with his friends.

Gia Elliot is a 16-year-old junior. Elliot is a part of the Beacon, she is a part of the French Club, the Humanities Club, and the Fashion Club. However, outside of school, she enjoys playing the guitar and baking unless she's working at Prince Street Cafe. After high school, she has an interest in becoming a baker.

Kaitlyn Williams is currently a sophomore in high school. She is in both the Fashion Club and GLI (Girls Learn International). Williams has always appreciated and been inspired by a large variety of fashion. In the future, she hopes to go to an out of state college and take as many fashion courses as she can!

Her future plans are to attend a fashion school to study fashion design. She chose to be a reporter to give people a better understanding about the different creators of fashion.

Leah Altman is a freshman at Dallastown Area High School and has a passion for making the fashion industry inclusive for people of all sexualities and genders. Altman is also involved in the Dallastown Mental Health Awareness Club. Altman has plans of going to college for early childhood development and pursuing a career of child care and/or education. Altman wants to focus on writing articles that shine a light on the complexity of fashion and how it shapes society. She is looking forward to bringing her best ideas to Dallastown Fashion Club!

Lilyanna Muñiz is a junior with passion and enthusiasm for being a part of her community. Muñiz is the blog videographer and reporter due to her interest in communicating with the public and getting involved with our students. Muñiz is involved in various clubs: MHAC, Fashion Club, GLI, Big Buddies, Rosie’s, Leo club, and President of FBLA; our business program at Dallastown. She is planning on continuing in following her interest in business and management in her future. Muñiz honestly wishes to produce detailed, educated, and appealing work and hopes she accomplished this goal. Overall, Muñiz wishes the best for the Fashion Club and wants to provide the best work for the blog. She knows the public will love what the club has in store for them!

Meghan Kelly is a sophomore, and has been a part of the Fashion Club the entire year. Kelly is a photographer, videographer, and reporter for the blog. She loves meeting new people and being able to discuss fashion and art with other creative individuals. Her goal after high school is to live in Chicago and attend DePaul University. Rachel Precht is a junior at Dallastown Area High School who always loved taking pictures whether that was nature, objects, or people.
